(Updated February 24, 2013)
Background
When it began, this sub-forum was for a play-by-post 4th edition D&D campaign known as The Unquiet Lands. As of this writing, that campaign is still alive and kicking, but I've added a few other games along the way, using this space to organize and make announcements concerning them. This has led to an understandable amount of confusion as to what belongs to what around here, especially when someone is looking through the sub-forum for the first time.
What Are The Unquiet Lands?
At first, this was the name of my play-by-post campaign. However, as I started to develop other games in the same world, The Unquiet Lands now refers to my overall game setting. I wanted it to be something easy to enter, so it is a fairly "basic" land of swords and sorcery following many established tropes of fantasy and D&D: technology is pre-modern; there are gods and demons, dragons and oozes; people can travel to alternate realities; some individuals gain vast amounts of personal power through experience; and so on. However, the details of the individual locales vary to a significant degree.
Most games in the Unquiet Lands use the 4th edition Dungeons and Dragons rules set. This is not a hard and fast rule, and I have recently begun a Traveller campaign based in this sub-forum.

What Are the Various Games?
I. The Unquiet Lands (The Aucothian Campaign)
System: D&D (Fourth Edition)
Status: currently running
Format: play-by-post
Length: long-term
Continuity: serial
Style: campaign
This is the original Unquiet Lands play-by-post campaign. It is set in the Empire of Aucothia, a land beset by insurrection and religious discontent. Most of the threads here are devoted to this game. The current adventure thread is Knowledge's Cauldron. Out-of-character discussions are maintained on the Knowledge's Cauldron Discussion thread. The players maintain a number of supporting threads, such as Important facts and tidbits.
The party began at 1st level and is currently at the 4th level.
II. Romance of a Fallen Country (The Istaoan Campaign - Quest Adventures)
System: D&D (Fourth Edition)
Status: hiatus (running Dispositio Diabolum)
Format: chat
Length: long-term
Continuity: serial
Style: campaign
This is a chat-based campaign set on the island of Istao. Once unified as a single kingdom, Istao has been composed of a patchwork of warring fiefdoms for generations. Emissaries from one of the most advanced principalities, the players are striving to salvage what they can out of the growing chaos while confronting threats from the half-forgotten past. The party has just foiled a Tyaasian plot in the elven land of Addadun and is about to embark on a quest to find the lost ring of Addadun's Territory Lord.
At this time, the Quest Adventures have only three confirmed players, so there is room for expansion. The Istao game thread is devoted to announcements concerning both Istaoan Campaigns. Participants are encouraged to commit to an ongoing game that meets semi-monthly on Saturdays at 2:30 pm Pacific Time. This game is currently on hiatus while I run Dispositio Diabolum in its slot.
Players who maintain characters in both the Quest Adventures and Mission Adventures enjoy shared experience point rewards. The party is currently between 1st and 2nd level.

III. The Istaoan Campaign - Mission Adventures
System: D&D (Fourth Edition)
Status: hiatus (running Dispositio Diabolum)
Format: chat
Length: long-term
Continuity: episodic
Style: campaign
Technically part of the Romance of a Fallen Country campaign, the Mission Adventures are chat-based games that involve a different, more fluid, party of characters. Player characters are partisans of the Duchy of Calanque. A principality that rules the small islands of the Firth of Tanbryin in the northeastern region of Istao, Calanque founded a small colony to increase its influence on the mainland some years ago: the village of Elanglond. In response to raids on Elanglond from its neighbors to the east and west, the Duchy has gone to war with both of them. The party supports the Elanglond Thaumaturgical Company, the arcane arm of the Duchy's military forces.
As with the Quest Adventures, the Istao game thread handles announcements related to this game. Players who maintain characters in both the Quest Adventures and Mission Adventures enjoy shared experience point rewards. While initial characters start at first level, subsequent characters retain their players' accumulated experience points.
Unlike the Quest game, characters can come and go more freely, and irregular participation is not an issue. Mission games often meet when players are absent from the Quest game, or when a chat game is scheduled for an unusual date or time.

IV. Dispositio Diabolum
System: D&D (Fourth Edition)
Status: currently running
Format: text chat using MapTool, relying on P&PG Chat when necessary
Length: medium - estimated completion in 2012-2013
Continuity: serial
Style: short campaign of six adventures
Dispositio Diabolum is a chat-based campaign that begins in The Unquiet Lands' version of the Feywild. It takes place five years after The Autumn Knight, an adventure I ran from 2010-2011, but it is not a sequel in the sense that it follows from the storyline of The Autumn Knight. This is a paragon-tier campaign and player characters started at 11th level. Some players are using their characters from The Autumn Knight.
Announcements concerning the game can be found in the Dispositio Diabolum thread, below. Right now, there are four confirmed players. The adventures in Dispositio Diabolum are planned to be short compared to my previous adventures. Therefore, level gain occurs roughly every two to three adventures. The fifth adventure, "Propositio," began in February of 2013. The sessions begin at 4:00 pm Pacific Time with play starting at 4:30 pm.

V. The Order of the Green Lion
System: D&D (Fourth Edition)
Status: suspended while running Dispositio Diabolum
Format: chat
Length: indefinite
Continuity: episodic
Style: encounters and short adventures
This is the name for an occasionally run series of thematically-linked encounters and very short (1-2 chat session) adventures. It will be used to provide some variety from other games, and while projects are still in the organizational state. This game is planned around one to six players of 5th level, and is intended to be even more flexible than the Istaoan Mission Adventures. Organization and discussion takes place on the Order of the Green Lion thread.

VI. Exit Visa
System: Traveller ("Classic rules" from the late '70s and early '80s)
Status: hiatus (running Dispositio Diabolum)
Format: P&PG text chat
Length: indefinite - estimated completion of the current arc in 2012-2013; possible extension
Continuity: serial
Style: one long adventure interspersed with short scenarios, possibly developing into a campaign depending on player interest
This is the first non-D&D game in the Unquiet Lands sub-forum. Exit Visa takes place in a mostly standard Third Imperium setting. At loose ends after retiring or being terminated from their lifelong careers, the player characters set off to find purpose and make new meaning for themselves as interstellar travelers. Note that this game is not based on the old Traveller adventure Exit Visa, and the choice of naming is coincidental.
