Forgotten Realms 4E - Looking for potential DM and players

Myself and a friend are looking for an experienced DM and around three other experienced players to start an online gaming group. Everyone should be dedicated, and be able to set aside the time in their schedule for a weekly game. The DM master has the freedom to do what he pleases, so long as it's within the Forgotten Realms campaign setting using the 4E rules.

We would like to base the game in GMT, although if you are in another time zone and are still able to make the sessions, you are more than welcome to join.

Time of play shall be around 5pm GMT.

you may want to change # of desired players to 5. It seems like you want only one more player for a total of 3. Just a suggestion. Can't play though, so good luck.

Thanks, mate did the changes! Hopefully there are some people based around the GMT time zone on this website. It's the best I've come across for networking people so far.

how far ahead is GMT compared to the eastern time zone. It might help us across the pond figure out if we can play or not.

Yukon, GMT is 4 hours ahead of EDT, so 5 pm GMT would be 1 pm here in East Coast, USA. I'd be interested in playing if it were on Sunday.

What's the status on this thread?

I love FR and 4E and used to playing with folks across the big pond. I actually have a campaign concept for FR ready to roll with.

I don't however have any experience with any of the chat based programs so I would need some help with that stuff.

I can do Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

I have a few ideas floating around and I don't mind DMing at all, just need to make sure Whorse and the others are still interested before I get into details and such.

Is Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon better for folks?

Great Azatoth, that sounds good. I haven't had much experience with any of the programs either, but I think we should be able to learn within our first session. Sunday afternoon would be preferable for me.

What kinds of characters is everybody interested in playing?

Probably a wizard or striker type here. Saturday will be more consistently available for me around 5. What starting level were you thinking for your campaign idea Azatoth? 1st?
