I'm rebooting this, but on Tuesday nights, roughly 6-9 PM, probably 2-3 sessions/month. I've got a good group of players, but could use one or two more. I think we'll most likely be using the Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG.
I'm thinking about starting up an "old school" FRPG campaign - yes, I'm old enough to have played D&D out of the "blue box," and am suffering some middle-age nostalgia. I'm leaning towards Castles & Crusades or something similar (like Swords & Wizardry) - boiled down, bare knuckle, old school rules - not 3rd ed, 3.5 ed, or 4th ed.
We'd probably play a couple of times per month, depending on peoples' schedules. I only have Saturday afternoons and evenings open, and then only some weeks. We'd probably meet at a pub or cafe or similar public spot, although if someone could host regularly, that'd work too (I can't). Also, it has to be in San Francisco, although players willing to travel to SF would be welcome. (If I'm sounding like a cranky old man who's insisting on having his way, well, I am!)
I'm happy to perform the lion's share of GMing duties, though would also be happy to share world-design and GMing. I'm setting up a wiki for the former.
We'd start up when we have 4 players (including myself). Cheers!
