how do i use the in threaqd dice roller?

you type "[ roll=(die roll here)]name of my roll[/roll]"

replacing (die roll here) with a die roll, like 1d20 or 1d20+5 and not using the "".
the [] are necessary, however. i also added a space inbetween the first [ and roll. remove that.

ya except how i got a 0 on a d20

that happens when there is some typo in the roll, but not enough to actually make the roll itself fail. in other words since it can't figure out what the numbers are, it apparently generates a null result, which is seems to be interpreted as a (0) in this case.
