Group Calendar -- recurring events?

I'm having trouble setting up a weekly recurring game in my group's calendar. I go to calendar, click on Recurring Event and setup all the details. I have tried to set it to recur weekly and every 7 days. Neither of them seem to create more than just the initial event in my calendar.

Is anyone else having this issue or am I just missing something?

The most likely reason you have having a problem with setting up the recurring event is that your end date isn't set out long enough. The end date of the event is the last day the recurring will show up on. So, if I wanted to setup an event for every Saturday between 2pm and 11pm from now until the end of the eyar, it would look like this:

Start: February 28th, 2009 2:00 PM
End: December 31st, 2009 11:00 PM (doesn't matter if it is a Saturday or not)

Recurrence Pattern:
Weekly, Every 1 week, on Saturday.

Thanks, Farcaster! That's indeed what I'm doing wrong. It's not quite intuitive though, since setting up events like that makes me think that my events lasts from start to end. Shouldn't there be another line for when the recurrence ends instead of combining them into the "End" section?

It's kind of a built in feature of the vBulletin software. I might be able to add a description to the field or something to explain, but the way it has been setup is pretty integral to everything else, and thus very difficult to change.
