So, by old school D&D, this would be a level 0 commoner with 1/8 HD, with all physical stats of 1. By 4th edition reckoning, I guess he'd be some kind of level 0 minion? In any case, this weekend, my wife unexpectedly delivered seven weeks early. So it was that Christopher H. Howard was to become the newest member of the Pen & Paper Games family at a whopping 3 pounds 11 ounces. And, being the typical dad, I couldn't help but share some pictures with you all.
The first picture is with with my wife, my son, and the new baby.
In the second picture, you'll see that we've spared no luxury for our new son as he basks in his first tanning bed -- living in Seattle, you do what you got to do.
In the third picture, you can see that I am already working on getting him familiar with the most popular icon of RPGs!

Congrats, man! You finally got around to taking that Leadership feat you'd been looking at!
How interesting that you mention your baby weighing in at 3 lbs. 11 oz. A coworker of mine, who just delivered her baby 8 weeks early, also reported that her son was born at that very same weight. He is doing spectacularly well, though, for being a premie.

My own daughter was born 4 weeks early last November and she had some sun tanning urge too ! I hope you guys don't have to spend too much time at the hospital treating jaundice.

Those things make me nervous. When I was little, my mom told me my brother was baking in her tummy (like it was an oven), so when he was born premature and jaundiced they let us take him home with a portable incubator. He was yellow, the light was blue so he looked like a small, green pooping machine. Mom told me he wasn't done yet when he came out of the oven so we had to put him in a microwave!
