I just made an account on these forums two days ago, and just now I am trying to find an online d20 modern game I can join into but I'm having a hard time. Not even sure if I posted in the right section but I guess I will see. Can somebody give me some advice on using these forums, and maybe point me in the right direction of an online d20 modern game, its kind of frustrating because I like to play in person but of all the people I know who play d20 games I am the only one with the experience to gm and the interest to play d20 modern so I've always ended up the gm even though I bought the books to become a player.

Is this you running it or playing it?
Have you considered something like open RPG?
I used to run a d20 modern "Iraq / Conspiracy X" game, using Open RPG.
What kind of turn freq are you looking for, etc for a pbp?
Setting?
Mixing in Future / Cyberpunk elements??
I want to play preferably but I'd be willing to gm. As for frequency of post I'd be flexible once a day would be the most frequently I'd probably post though. I'm also kind of sad because I just moved to pittsburgh about two months ago but I had problems adjusting and moved back and now I'm seeing the numbers of games going on there and just for that reason I kind of wish I had stayed.

Yeah, there are a lot of hobby shops and groups here, certainly.
I've been canvassing the city, looking for group at stores, via boards like this, meetup, and online.
Lots more people here than in Dayton.
pittsburgh seemed like a very educated city and it seemed like nerdvana in my opinion, I just didn't adapt and I felt out of place at the college I was at so I withdrew and moved back. One of the things that I was looking forward to was finding a group but my computer went down before I moved and so I was having a hard time with that too.
If it's any help, I am really trying to setup a d20 modern/past pbp (not on this forum, but on another).

I ran a Modern D20 version of All Flesh Must Be Eaten pbp for close to six months, I loved it and would one day like to give it another go if enough interest was shown.
