If there are sections there for Local Meet Up Groups, and Social groups, why aren't there any for people who have an online community to invite people to?
Recruiting for a P&PG panel of writers who would write adventure / campaign hooks weekly. The idea is to spread the weight of the job around so the writers who sign on can choose specialty genres (Horror, Fantasy, etc). Your work would be featured on the home page and, of course, free for anyone to read and use. CLICK HERE if interested.

Do you mean a section for people who have external websites that they would like to advertise?

    not really "advertise"

I know for my dnd group I made a freewebs thing so they could have all their characters stats online, I could post maps, ideas, places and etc. I mean like a place for people who have taken the time to make a page, or a site for their group or campaign to invite other players to. So I mean I guess that is advertising, but not with the intention of pulling people away from here.

I'm not sure how to put what I'm thinking into words really?

Ok, how a local group would meet at a specific place is really backed by this site, but if a group plays online there doesn't seem to be anywhere for that group to tell people "this is the site our group made and uses, this is what software we use to play, and this is when we play or even where we go (on the internet I mean) your welcome to come take a look and join if you want."

So yeah...maybe that is advertising...But I mean it in an innocent fashion.

That actually sounds like a neat idea. I've got a Play by Post game that I'd like to "advertise" so to speak. At the moment, I've got a banner in my sig, but I could understand if someone took the time to create a webpage for it or something that it'd be fun to have a place to show off your work.

    Thank you!

I had one of those...sinking failure feelings until now.

there is a blogs and articles section, plus images are host-able online here. customizing your profile is also an option. other than that, may i suggest that you advertise you campaign in the "campaign invitation" sub-forum, and put appropriate links to your website for the details. while they do not host webpages, there is no problem with linking to them from appropriate forums. =D
