This is a very popular class in the campaigns ive been a part of. I even dare say that this is arguably, the favorite of the classes. There are always at least two players that fight over said class... always taking a breath of relief when the DM says they both can play one. Will i ever play one? Nope, not where i am in my DnD life. Gimme something handicapped, small, has issues, etc, for a more challenging game play and i will be one happy gamer.

Heck ya...Swordmages skills are so much fun. I find they dont really "outdamage" striker class or "outcontrol" controlling class (at least for the assult class) but im really enjoying playing mine.

now the shielding class (ive heard) is very very good for controlling and keeping your squishy's alive with dmg reduction and protections etc etc etc. but i havnt had the enjoyment of trying one of them for now lol...

havnt try the ensnare class either. My next 2 chars will be one of each to be honost so i can try them all. Anyways, Swordmages are the coolest imo that is.
