A new member in my area is having problems logging onto the site and asked me to find out what to do about the problem. He is using my computer to log in (Being that he is my son, lol). Any suggestions would be very helpful, being that while I know gaming, I am still at loss with the ways of the computer.

Yes ,he is regester amd recieved a confirmation and I even recieved an email of a gamer in my area. But for some reason, he says he cant log in. He says that he is entering the right name and password, but he just cant log in.

Maybe he should try to remove all cookies : since it's a computer you probably already used with your own account. My 2 cents.

Ok, I removed the cookies, the he still cant log in. He keeps receiving the message that it is an invalid name or password. He did regeister with his PSP, but tried to log in with my computer.

Was/is Caps Lock on while it was(not) when he signed up?

Yeah, if he is using the same machine as you and you can get in and he can't you have done a fantastic technical 50/50.
Is it the website or the user? Since you can get in we can assume with confidence that the website is working well. Since he can't do so in the same technical environment, we can assume with confidence that it's account related. I'd bet password. Have him do the "forgot your password" routine and see if that's the fix. If not his account itself has an issue and you have to throw yourself at the allmighty Farcaster and appease his needs for cookies and bribes!

You can also check the e-mail or "Member List" to make sure he's typing the right user name. If it seems to be right then yea, try the "I forgot my password" link.

Probablem solved!! LOL! He just misspelled his log-in name-Instead of Unsteadystill, he typed Unsteadysill. Can he fixed it?
