Catan? Que'est-ce que c'est ca?
So I live in the desert. It's hot, and people really shouldn't live here but the home prices drew me in a month ago.
My wife and I were on a loot run (bookshelves!) and passed a garage sale where they were showing the box for one of those above the ground pools that stand about four feet high and work for folks on a budget. I parked and sent the lady in to investigate. It wasn't much of a deal so she passed.
On the way back she almost tripped over a copy of Seafarer's of Catan. Unopened! They wanted $3 for it, and really had no idea what it was for or how to use it. She didn't wait for them to explain it's presence, and quickly handed them the cash.
Victory is ours! We are a huge Catan family, and this was on expansion we had yet to get. Yes, we played it immediately!
(Psst. Farcaster! We need a sub-forum for table/board games!! ;p )

Settlers of Catan I presume
Au gibet noir, manchot aimable, dansent, dansent les paladins
Les maigres paladins du diable les squelettes de Saladins.
That is indeed what I'm talking about!![]()
For shame Farcaster, you don't know Catan?
You can find a computer version at the MSN gaming zone. Not as fun as playing with friends, but it will give you an idea.

You can also play it at games.asobrain.com; it's called Xplorers. They also have Toulouse (Carcasonne).
Nice find! I <3 Carcassonne too!

There's nothing to fear except fear itself and, of course, the boogeyman.
