We have had an age poll. I am curious as to how long you have played RPGs and what the spread is.
EDIT: Sorry for my dislexia in the poll question.

I guess I could have lowered myself a notch for time off in between sometimes.

1974-1975 or so. It was in the very beginning. Still have everything ever purchased, including all the Dragons beginning with issue 1.

I have a bunch of gear including Dragon and White Dwarf 1. Not to collect, just because I don't like getting rid of stuff. It's part of my past
Thinking back, I actually started playing in 1994 while in Corpsman "A" School...Battletech at the time. Started playing D&D about a year later, and been hooked ever since. I've played a lot of systems since then, but always loved gaming.
I've been around so long, I actually had to use chits.
I'd bet some of the younger gamers don't even know what those are.
Since '97. Good old AD&D 2. Gotta love that THACO

89/90 - Twilight 2000 (not quite a gamer yet)
91 - AD&D 2nd, full gamer from there on
As for chits, heard them mentioned before but really no idea what they are. Guess I'm not quite that old yet
