There's an actual game based on the book, but due to complicated rights issues it's "only" available for free. It's on RPGNow and related sites.

I've downloaded it, but like a lot of PDFs on my drive I haven't even read it yet.

Sorry, not familiar with either the game (haven't heard of it) or the book. What is the story line of the book. Maybe it might be something that I can pick up that I haven't read yet.

I read the book once (I think- it was a long time ago, and a lot of the things I'm reading about the book I might have been remembering from Mirrormask or Coraline). Nothing jumped out at me and said "Good setting for an RPG". The rules I skimmed for the D6 game look like generic fantasy.

I'll assume that would be on sale at a 100% discount.

It was an urban fantasy setting in London (or mostly under London, as I recall). There were these people who lived under the streets of London, for the most part. It's been a while since I've seen the movie. I think I could play the game with another system. Maybe Changeling: the Lost. What do you think?

I have actually thought this would be a wonderful setting for a game. I think it is a rich urban fantasy with lots of story hooks. especially with the ability to pull material from London's entire history.

Free is for me. No such thing as owning too many systems.
