A game based on the book, or is there an actual game with that title?
There's an actual game based on the book, but due to complicated rights issues it's "only" available for free. It's on RPGNow and related sites.
I've downloaded it, but like a lot of PDFs on my drive I haven't even read it yet.

I read the book once (I think- it was a long time ago, and a lot of the things I'm reading about the book I might have been remembering from Mirrormask or Coraline). Nothing jumped out at me and said "Good setting for an RPG". The rules I skimmed for the D6 game look like generic fantasy.
I grabbed it, we shall see.

It was an urban fantasy setting in London (or mostly under London, as I recall). There were these people who lived under the streets of London, for the most part. It's been a while since I've seen the movie. I think I could play the game with another system. Maybe Changeling: the Lost. What do you think?
I have actually thought this would be a wonderful setting for a game. I think it is a rich urban fantasy with lots of story hooks. especially with the ability to pull material from London's entire history.
I just downloaded it to desktop and will endeavor to peruse it this weekend.
