AG16: ICC game thread. (In Character Context)

There is someone on the other side of this door, let us prepare and see what is afoot!!

Sarissa has cast a LOT of buffing spells, most of which last 7-15 minutes (depending). How many minutes has it been since we entered this room? Are her minute-per-level buffs still going?

Assuming that they ARE still going, she prepares to open the west door. With a quick look at the others for confirmation, she says "Does anyone need a moment? If not, I'm opening this right now!"

She opens the door unless someone specifically says they need to wait.

If she is out of buffs, her action is different: "Give me just one moment." She recharges herself with Vigor. THEN she takes care of the door.

Sarissa opens the door, moving aside as she does so (not blocking the door), and looks in.

You pop the door open suddenly, (it opens to the right) and are rewarded with the sight of a large red-skinned humanoid, with black armor and a huge sword in one hand, facing away from you, apparently rummaging through some things, for it tosses aside a large urn which smashes, splashing some liquid across the floor. It obscures the majority of the view, but you can see a few things around and beyond the humanoid. There are a couple of low shelves widely spaced in the middle of the room. Some things hang on the wall. There are a few other similarly hued and armored figures beyond the first. Maybe two.

Does this guy look like the other dude we fought in the other room?

Sarissa does not seem to care whether this is a familiar creature. She squeezes herself into the room (remember she's 15 feet tall). "Demon! Prepare to face the wrath of Good!"

Sarissa is grateful for the 15' ceilings, though she might scrape her hair or headgear from time to time if she is not careful. She sees that there are four of these beings, and that there is nothing wrong with their reflexes. (Squeezing through the doorway, and the pronouncement of righteous wrath negates any surprise...) }}}

Oh boy it looks we might be in for a bit of a fight since these are blood trolls after all. (Assuming they are from past checks) Gil you stay and keep the old man safe. I don't want you to get stuck in the door.

On Veld's turn he shouts to the party to stay back from the enemy and he casts Acid Storm (Spell Compendium p7, 20ft radius, Reflex save DC 20 for half, No SR) on the Blood Troll but being careful to not get any of his allies caught in the spell.

If he can not cast this because of his location he moves as far as he can with a move action and then casts it.

Gil readies a full round attack against any hostiles that attempt to attack him or the old man.

Comments:
1) You can't ready a full attack.
2) Sarissa is a paladin, after all! She doesn't think about subtlety. Plus, given her size she figures secrecy is a lost cause anyway.
