RPG Bands

Otherwise I was thinking of starting a thread about bands that make obvious references to RPGs.

I have two in mind, happens they are from the metal scene ! (is there a pattern here ?)

First the very gruesome Gwar. I like their style and humor They're not quite PG-13 but I never heard of another band that looks like fantasy figurines



The other I can think of is Bolt Thrower with their many album covers directly related to Games Workshop games.


I don't think we should restrain to metal music but it seems the rest of the music business isn't dorky enough to enjoy RPG

I don't know about actual RPG bands, but there are some that i like for specific settings. ie: Led Zeppelin for fantasy (kind of obviously i guess); Ozzy for a lot of grit (Rifts, for example. Gotta play War Pigs when fighting the CS), Godsmack for something dark and broody (Nightbane).

Alright, *now* you can mock my taste in music.
