Your Super...

If you were a Super what would be your Powers and how did you get them? I would more then likely control time why because I never seem to have enough of it.

I play 'Champions' when I can, so the list of super abilities could get long very quickly.

Now as to my favorite, I have a criminal npc who has time control to an extent. His/Her nom de plume? Allibie, of course.

i used to want this power or that power.... but i find that i've mellowed in my "old age". now i'll settle for being able to create entire planets, systems, galaxies and universes.

i must admit, that if i were a superhero... i'd like to know what it feels like to fly, and not just in the dreams. ^^

My superpower would be:

1) Global and Local Sympathy (not just psionic empathy)

Meaning I would know just know "people are sad." I'd feel some of their sadness as well.

2) A mind that can bear that degree of suffering and act on that information.

With those two things my character would have all the motivation and ability to make this world a happier place for people insofar as this is possible and that is the only worthy superhero of the name for me.

I've always found myself drawn to elemental control, especially earth. I envision getting my powers through genetic mutation or as a hereditary gift due to some magical family origin like being an earth spirit.

In all my super powered games, my power was the ability to know everyone's thoughts except those of a select few, be able to manipulate them like puppets, control the forces of nature, karma and probability and mold the very fabric of the universe to my will.

There are so many cool powers to choose from, but if I had to pick (and yeah, this may be cheating), I would want a Green Lantern power ring. Powered by will and imagination, there is so much that you could do. Plus, I'd be able to fly and I've always wanted to feel like Superman gliding through the air.

I have always wanted the ability to psionically blast someone and leave them with the perspective of another person - to absorb others' life experiences and then 'slap' other people with them, leaving them with a full awareness of what someone else has been through as though they lived it themselves.

Imagine how productive a trip to Congress would be after absorbing the life experiences of various poor people, minorities, sick people, etc.

You know, I might suggest you go with a Red Lantern power ring, or a Black Lantern power ring. The difference?

Red is powered by rage, and it completely replaces your circulatory system with a plasma that you can vomit up upon your enemies and allow it to eat through them like a super-acid. You can also take some control over the rage of others, and use it to power your abilities. Typically, Red Lanterns end up simple-minded Rage-fiends, but if you've got the will, you'll do fine.

Black is powered by death, and it grants you healing and an infectious bite. You become an undead revenant(normally, not always), and you still get all the basic Green Lantern abilities.

For me? I would take eternal youth, the ability to grant those that I love that same power. Notice not Immortality, as I would be mortal I'd just never age. Also, never needing to sleep, eat, or ever get tired. Basically, undeath without death. Sounds great to me. That and telekinesis. And Telepathy. And psychometabolism.

I'd get these powers by being awesome. In other words, by meditation and careful study.

If I didn't like the sun so much, I'd just be a vampire. that and I'd hate to be indentured to my creator.
