Ampersand has been giving 4e goodies, but right now this link is broken! *grumble*
Of all the class changes I've read about for 4e, I like the sounds of what they've done to the rouge the most.
Check out this new article Wizards of the Coast posted recently:
Ampersand: Sneak Attack!
If you’re going to attend D&D Experience, say hello to the gang for me. In the meantime, enjoy this surprise peek at the rogue. Hurry, though. You know how sneaky the rogue can be....

Very interesting stuff:
Only thing I can't make out is the 2[W] damage terminology. The rest can be found in DDM2.
- No random HP. I'm a little perturbed, but I can live with it. It was always terrible to roll bad HP anyways, so it might not be all bad.
- Extremely limited weapon selection. Can't see what it means in relation to other classes, and it could be that they drastically reduced the weapon lists in general, but this is a crummy note.
- Looks to be a lot less paperwork when increasing level. Not as many skills to manage, things like sneak attack advance less frequently, etc (prolly along the lines of hero/paragon/epic).
- D&D Miniatures 2 rules have a whole lot in common (terminology, etc), so we might already have a good sense of 4e combat (if you've been following DDM2).
- Tumble got cooler/more limited depending on how you look at it - You can move half your speed once per encounter w/out attacks of opportunity.
- From the builds listed, looks like you get 2 at will abilities, 1 encounter, and 1 daily at 1st level.
