I recently looked into using clay to create my own miniatures and possibly miniature molds. What I found was a world of products with variety I previously had not imagined. I went on to try several brands and found it hard to find one that was perfect for any one application. I didn't have a lot of money though so before I sink further money into clay I'd like to hear what you artists and custom terrain'ers like to use. What type, what brands, how much, what applications? The more info the better.

Klean Clay. The only thing I use if for is making rubber molds for resin casting. Why? It is clean and the best I have yet encountered for the job.

I have some polymer clay that I have yet to play with.
