Werewolf: the forsaken

Do you have a favorite tribe in Werewolf: the forsaken? Which do you think is best?

The Pure hands down. I received a book on them a couple weeks back and I'm absolutely taken with them. The Pure teh rock ^_^

As presented, I find the Forsaken tribes to be of minor import, and treat them more as minor lodges.

You've got pack, pack totem, wolf-blooded, territory, allies and enemies, spirits, hosts and lodges to take up your time. A group of werewolves that you see every month or two seems to end up pretty low on the totem pole of "things important to my existence."

The Pure tribes actually seem to work together as a unit. I like the Fire-Touched, but then, I like paladins too.

I thought my best fit would be with Iron Masters. I like that they embrace change and new ideas.

The pure and honor warriors... I like the pure as well but i preffer to fight against them in order to save the city or my pack... I dont hate them but i dont like them as well... In almost every WtF session i have to fight or to move away some pure who wants the bad of my pack...
But i can realize that the gifts and the rites of the pure are GREAT!!!!
Anyway...I will choose Rahu-Blood talon and then i think Irraka...

As a player I would have to go with the Bone Shadows. But as GM I would have to say the Bale Hounds, of course I used to get alot of good use of the BSDs

Well I have to say I'm a Iron master fan myself, But I'm a child of gaia at, heart with a hunter in darkness as a second. The I agree I find the tribe of less importance than the pack.

Thats is true the pack seems to be the forefront. I did like the concept of the sept. It gave the news garou a place to absorb lore from without the uratha kind of beat it out of others, they don't play wel;l together

Starting up a game of this on Saturday. I have two Hunter in Darkness, Bone Shadow, Blood Talon and I am not sure what the last one is going to be. He told me but I forgot. It should be interesting. the guy who usually goes for Alpha doesn't want that position this time. I wonder if it will give him the itches.
