Hello. I'm looking to start something (or join something) here in Ottawa. Either D&D 3.5 or some other D20 game system. I'm especially interested in playing an Iron Heroes group in some appropriate setting (like Conan).
Message me if you're interested.

'Hither came Conan, the Cimmerian, black-haired, sullen-eyed, sword in hand, a thief, a reaver, a slayer, with gigantic melancholies and gigantic mirth, to tread the jeweled thrones of the Earth under his sandaled feet.'
Mongoose does have quite a few supplements available for the game. I read all the books as a kid. It would be great to play in that world for awhile.
Farcaster , the site Administrator, is Robert A. Howard not to be confused with Robert E. Howard the creator of Conan.![]()
Every considered playing Exalted rabkala? The world is based on the conan books, among other classics.
Never heard of that one. I'll have to look into it.
Not to be confused with Robert A. Howard the poet either...
Actually, I fancy myself a bit of a writer as well. I've worked on some short fiction in the past. Reason I mention it is that one of the reviewers in the critique group I am a part of actually suggested that I use a pseudonym instead of my real name to avoid confusion. He's probably right, but I wonder if it would give some people pause enough to pickup a book that they might not have, with no dishonesty on my part...
I think it would be a nice little bonus of using your real name. There have been several famous actors, politicians, comedians, and a few writers (to my knowledge anyway) that share full names but are clearly two unique individuals. The world may be a big place but over the span of recorded history such occurrences are a natural given.
