    Hey all,

    Just thought I'd start a thread on Hutt's.

    I'm running a game tonight where the Heroes must infiltrate a Hutt's casino/lair with the objective of aiding in the assassination of the Hutt crime lord. The Lair is an old mining station out in the wilderness of Tattooine.

    They're using a ship of a smuggler they killed earlier that's full of a shipment spice that they acquired from raiding another hutt's supplier.The heroes land late at night at the lair with fresh damage apparent on their freighter.

    They hope to convince the docking officer that the dead smuggler (who worked for "Beeda the Hutt") died while raiding with the heroes in hope of cashing the loot in with Beeda.

    If they succeed in this deception check, they are allowed to stay and will have audience with the Hutt the next night, which is followed by a tournament in the casino. This will be a good time to try to sneak allied NPCs in by disabling the security systems, etc during the commotion of the event. Once this happens, NPC troops will be able to charge the guest enterence with heavy weapons and attempt to shoot down beeda before he makes way for a secured area. Even if the hutt does escape the NPCs, the PCs will be waiting inside the secured area, creating a Hutt sandwitch.

    Little do the heroes know that captured Jedi are being sold by Beeda to the empire and that the transport of these Jedi will take place around the same time as the tournament, which may mess up plans if the Hero Jedi feel like swithching priorities in the middle of a major combat operation.... And the story continues..

    So I've got that outline, I just need to fill in the mission with encounters.

    My question is how large should I make a up and rising Hutt crime lord's clan? 100 crew with 40 hired soldiers?

    Also, if anybody knows of customs, or tid bits of hutt/Tattooine lore that might spice up this mission, that'd be great!

    nothing off the top of my head for general GM tips.

    but for detailed star wars information I always check the wookieepedia and the star wars databank.
