    This certainly does not bode well for 4.0!!!! I'm thinking the online component should be considered 4.5 and rolled out sometime in 2009.

    Its not that I hate WotC, its just that I have high expectations for 4.0 based on the videos released and now hearing that they don't have, or worse, no longer have a crucial member of the team responsible for bringing these plans to fruition is unsettling for the new edition.

    Such fatalistic thinking. Perhaps Wizards is just adding head count to their organization. They may be adding more teams to ramp up the project. With something as large as this, its also likely that they are bringing on a lot of contractors, so they'd need more team leads to manage and direct them.
