My current GM went out and bought all of the previous sets of the Game Mastery cards and we use them. The artwork is great and you put the card in a penny sleeve and write a detailed description of the item on the sleeve instead of the card.

When we find a treasure chest, the GM brings out this little ornate chest filled with the cards and we can spend a few minutes picking through and fighting over the loot. It is a lot more fun than just having the DM list stuff to you.

If you have the money to get the cards then I suggest you do as they are a good investment for the serious player and game master.

I really like the fact that there is a multitude of artwork for the same item type. I have a few potion cards and each one has a different picture, and they are all very detailed and ornate.
