    Edit:

Half Price Books is no longer hosting groups. Here is the message I got from the organizer.

"We are currently restructuring the community room objectives and are no longer able to reserve space or time for organizations or groups. I understand this might be an inconvenience; however, we are working to improve the customer experience at our store."

I've added these days and times to the calendar.

Thanks for arranging DFW game nights. Maybe when my schedule lightens up, I can actually attend one ...

BTW, if I wanted to announce I was running a one-shot at an event, could I just post to this thread? Or somewhere else?

    Thanks again.

I think starting a new thread would work best. I'm not sure if it should be here in the News section, or if it should be in the Members Chat.

Does everyone have access to post a thread the news forum?

If your wanting to run a one shot, I don't see why you don't post it directly to your rsvp at the calendar date. Isn't that is what it is for?

Posting the info on a new thread might not work every time. I only saw this thread because I clicked on the 'New Posts' section. And scrolled down.

I'll be at Half Price Books (on NW Hwy) Saturday 12th 3:00 pm to discuss my attempt to run a Call of Cthulhu game.

I am trying to do this in conjunction with the Plano Meetup, the more the merrier.

I got my CoC copy this Christmas, so any help from experienced Masters or Players is welcomed. Also is a good opportunity for me to meet interested players or make new friends.

    See you there

    Meetings at Half-Price Books

IMHO there is no need to put all the Open Game Days at Half-Price in the Calendar. It seems for me that it create a little confusion. Unless someone specifically opens a slot for a campaign. Which he can also do in the Campaign Invitation.

I suggest just to keep the 2 Monthly Meetups, that way is clear when one can go and find fellow players, if not to play, at least for the sake of discussion.

    Ron, Frank, any comments?
