Totally Off-Topic: Cat Feeding Frenzy

Found this on CNN today. It's sad that this lady has 130 cats crammed into such a small area, but at the same time, it is funny as hell watching them going into a frenzy when she feeds them.

For cat owners out there... The FURminator is the greatest invention for cat grooming ever. We received ours yesterday and raked a mountain of hair off each one. And they loved it.

Shucks!!! That was one odd video. Unfortunatly, or maybe fortunatly, as much as I love cats, I would not ever have that many scratching at MY door. I like those critters as much as any one, but there are times one should resort to the old shotgun.

The smell would be rough too now that I think of it. That's a LOT of cats in the video.

The smell would be horrible. Hopefully they potty outside, but if it was inside, I'm sure the smell would be worse.

I had a great aunt once (no, not great as in super cool, just really old). She was a very scary woman who made dolls. Her house was all dark and there were dolls seated all over the place, on shelves, the furniture, and some were even as big as I was back in the day.
Well, the point of the story is this, she had cats, perhaps around 20. They were all wild and would come in to her house through a hole in the floor of the kitchen.
So, when my mother would take me to visit her, I would often be left in the living room with all the dolls. Sometimes the cats would be running around behind the dolls, bumping them, moving them, and ultimately scaring the crap out of me because it struck me that the dolls were animated and were going to kill me.

So, technically, I've been told that you should have one littler box for each cat in the house plus one. That means she should have 131 litter boxes, but somehow I doubt that. Maybe she just has one big (nasty) sandbox?

Maybe it's just one room that instead of carpet, the entire floor is covered in kitty litter.

Imagine trying to actually clean 131 litter boxes. That's a full time job.
