Well, I checked there. There was nobody in there when I checked, though, so I didn't stay. *shrug* I'll make an effort to stop by there more often, I guess.
Pretty much what the thread title says.
What's up with you?

Yeah, I too log into the chat room every once in a while, see there's no one there, and log out. I'll see about lingering a little longer next time.
I was there for about 90 minutes. Ed Zachary came in and asked if anyone was there; I was AFK for a minute but answered when I came back. And then he left. I'll probably be in there tonight after about 9PM.
The room is large, with lots of furniture. Sorry, I didn't see Phishstyx there.
Who's going to sit in front of their monitor, constantly refreshing the screen, waiting for the other person there to get back from the bathroom?
Not blaming you for something, just recounting what happened last night.
I know that. The problem with showing up at random in the chat room is that you can be there for hours at the same time with other people, and you might not know that the other is there. What you've done here is good... announce that your there.
I've been considering changing our chat software to something that is a little more integrated with the site. Using this alternate program, you'd even have the ability to chat in a small window integrated right on the main page of the forums. That way, it would be easy for you to see anyone else who is in the forums with you. The chat room would also notify you when there are any new posts as well, which is kinda cool.
Do you think that would be a better solution?
Aye aye, captain.
And a link at the top of the page so it's easier to find the chat. It only shows up now when someone is already in it.
There is a link on every page, but it is under the Quick Links drop down box.
