    I'm looking, so I'm willing to bump this thread. I'm relatively flexible, EST (or GMT-5) is my timezone. I've got some 4e experience, plenty maptools. Voice chat might be a problem, but could be a solvable problem if game was looking good.

    I am also looking for group. Something runs through maptools and skype. I m on summer break so really any time works.

    I haven't heard anything. But keeping the post alive might attract players faster.

    I've got the skills to support a DM, but the actual DM mechanics and stuff are beyond me for now.
    Anyway, I've got a friend who might be interested as well
    what does that take party size to?

    Here are the themes that I was thinking:

    A - Barbarian Horde
    Each character has barbarian/berserker as the base class, included in
    a hybrid class, or takes a barbarian multiclass feat. Can take other
    multiclass feats too (if barbarian is base class).

    Bonus: two free feats. If hybrid, take hybrid option twice (even if
    not allowed). If multiclassing into barbarian, take two multiclass
    feats (preference on second one towards the one that lets you exchange
    a daily power for a rage power).

    Defenders: Warden - Multiclass or hybrid. For hybrid earthstrength or
    stormheart for warden, and rageblood or thunderborn for barbarian
    fighter either hybrid or via multiclass. For hybrid
    fighter/barbarian, the following builds: greatweapon or battlerager /
    rageblood or thunderborn OR tempest or arena/whirling
    swordmage - multiclass only
    berserker from heroes of the feywild.

    Leader: runepriest - multiclass or hybrid. For hybrid rageblood or
    thunderborn for barbarian and wrathful runepriest
    warlord - multiclass or hybrid. For hybrid warlord/barbarian -
    resourceful or inspiring or insightful or bravura/thaneborn

    Striker: pure barbarian (any), also multiclass into OTHER classes
    blackguard - multiclass or hybrid (hybrid with thaneborn)
    Ranger - hybrid or multiclass - two-weapon fighting or marauder build
    for ranger - whirling for barbarian
    Rogue - I would suggest just multiclass via brawny rogue route
    Sorcerer - multiclass or hybrid - hybrid of cosmic or dragon sorcerer
    with thaneborn barbarian
    Monk - multiclass or hybrid - barbarian definately thaneborn (and can
    use unarmed strikes as your two weapons) monk - stone fist or eternal
    tide traditions

    Controller: seeker (thrown weapon build) with multiclass barbarian feats.

    B - Defenders
    no hybrids, multiclassing ok. One of the 6 (berserker, fighter,
    warden, battlemind, swordmage, paladin)

    bonus: two free feats. The feats can
    be anything you want.

    The following are the subroles to consider

    Leader - paladin, lifespring warden
    Striker - most of them
    controller - some fighter powers, storm or stone warden, a lot of
    battlemind stuff, swordmage

    I would suggest the healing focused paladin, the lifespring warden,
    the berserker (can switch between defending and striking), battlemind
    (any) and the swordmage (shielding) (for a party of 5).

    C - Primal
    must be from the primal power source
    Bonus: a tribal feat (the same for all)

    PH2: barbarian (STK), druid (CON), shaman (LED), warden (DEF)
    PH3: seeker (CON)
    HFK: sentinel (LED), Hunter (CON), scout (STK) {I am a bit iffy on the
    last two, but we'll see}
    HFW: berserker (DEF/STK), Protector (CON)

    D - genasi
    all genasi (INT bonus, and choice between STR and CON). I would
    suggest all different manifestations (from dark sun or abyssal)

    Bonus: any genasi feat

    Suggested classes/builds:

    defender: swordmage (any)
    leader: artificer (minion or armor build), warlord (tactical or
    resourceful build)
    Striker: warlock (vestige, infernal, or sorcer-king)
    controller: wizard (staff,summoner, sha'ir)

    Others that work:
    Defender: any other
    leader: runepriest, cleric
    Striker: barbarian, ranger, blackguard
    Controller: psion

    E - divine
    must be from the divine power source AND have the same diety
    (preferably pelor or raven queen considering the adventure)
    Bonus: a domain feat

    Avenger (striker)
    Cleric (leader)
    Invoker (controller)
    Paladin (defender)
    Runepriest (leader)
    Cavalier (defender)
    Warpriest (leader)

    Here's how to build

    Ability scores: 22 point buy. You get 6
    separate +1 to any of your abilities (after the 22 pt build), but no
    more than +3 to any ONE ability score. Also, after the 22 point buy,
    +1 to EVERY ability score (independent of the other 6 bonuses)

    Feats: 10 (can all be paragon through retraining) plus your bonus
    feats. Must qualify for bonus feats.

    Skills/defenses: the bonus from level is +8. Also for armor, don't
    forget to get fancy armor. I.e. instead of hide, you can get feyhide
    (or whatever) that is a bit better than hide, but can only be with
    magic items of +3 or better.

    Paragon path - pick one. You'll have one encounter power, one utility
    power, and AP bonus, and two path features.

    @ will powers: you get 2 (3 if human and don't pick that other thing)
    encounter powers: you get 3 plus the PP power. I suggest taking the
    higher level one first. You get a 17th level one, 13th level, and 7th
    level.
    Daily powers: you get 3. Again pick from highest level and go back.
    You have a 15th, 9th, and 5th level. (on both, you can always take
    lower level ones)
    utility powers: you get 5. 2nd, 6th, 10th, 12th (from PP), and 16th level.
