I use notepad on PC, and MAd Irishman's editable .PDF sheets. Not easy to edit but you can enter fields and such.
currently I am running two dungeons and dragons 3.0 / 3.5 campaigns
dose any one know of any tools that will make my job a lot easier in keeping track of things and running the game I can't seem to find tools that hit for these two systems
as well as dose any one know of a good program that I can develop my own character sheet that will be easy to lay out and still look good.
hoping that I got this posted in the right area.

http://notecase.sourceforge.net/index.html Notecase isn't specific to RPG but it does organize things hierarchically and allow you to insert things like maps and such. Plus it's free and it works.
