    Hi everyone.

I am a GM and want to start a local game. Looking for a group that needs a change or a group of players who have a few hours per week to kill and want to make friends. I also run a game in Queens. If interested, you must be at least 21.

This game uses GURPS rules (Generic Universal Role Playing System). It's a great game engine that only seems complex. It's what all the cool math nerds are using.

If anyone is interested or can help out, please post below.

    Here’s the list:

Asteria-5: This is a good old fashioned planetfall / exploration game. PC’s must help establish a colony on a dark planet.

Infinity Patrol: When 21st century scientists discovered the secrets to time / interdimensional travel, they could not have imagined the threats that would come from the other side. Thus, the Infinity Patrol along with ISWAT was created. Players are members of this elite troubleshooting unit. What makes this unique is that the players can be, well, anything (provided they are human-ish looking. It’s just easier). No, really, you can make anything. A cyberninja? Sure. Space pirate? Yep. How about a swinging sixties superspy who is also is also a graduate of Hogwarts? Absolutely. How about a Dwarven steampunk industrialist demon hunter wielding a sonic axe? Heck, yeah. Be whatever you want.

League of Extraordinary Gentlefolk – 1987: If you are familiar with the original League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comic (yeah, the movie too I guess), you know the concept. Take fictional characters from around the same time and put them together. Here, the players are from whatever is appropriate from books, movies, TV shows and video games from around 1987. So, your team could comprise of Doc Brown, MacGyver, Jason Bourne, Master Splinter, Johnny-5, and let’s say a Bad Dude or two. You get the idea.

Star Trek: Redshirts: You never learn their names, but they are an integral part to Starfleet. How else will the captain find out what a monster can do, or who will wear down the escaped criminal so they can be captured by a main character? This is your thankless and very deadly job. Think of this as “Paranoia”, but on the Enterprise and much more thankless. Your job is to survive, that’s all. Note, depending on the players, the title may switch to “Black and Gold” should they wish to do Next Generation instead of Original Series.

So, feel free to post in this thread for your thoughts or criticism. PM me if interested. Thank you for reading this.
