I would like to see a java, flash, or html/css based mapping solution made available to all pbp and chat gamers on this site. I am mindful of the html-based dungeon mapper released by WotC a long while back, that used mini images for dungeon tiles. Very lightweight.

Gametable has a hack available that allows it to be hosted on a website, but it is somewhat server resource heavy, especially for a community of this size.

Is this a possible offering for this community? I would very much like to see one, even if only for reference in-game and not actual tactical maneuvering.
