I read something about social combat earlier in the thread, not sure if it's actually in the GoT system or not.
That system excluded, the burden seems to be on the GM to make a Game of Thrones game good, since GoT seems heavily social and less physical. Meaning, it's easy to set up conflict by having someone swing a sword at players, not so easy to set up conflict with witty comments, veiled threats, and conflicting motivations.
My lingering question: is there a Game of Thrones system that includes game mechanics that can't create the same game that d20 could?
