Camapign for 1-2 PCs

Are there any 3.0 or 3.5 adventures for having 1 PC + DM or 2 PCs + DM?

I've got 1-2 people interested in learning to play and would like to run them through some stuff before integrating them into my more experienced group.

my group is on break now (college stuff) so just sticking them straight in the group isn't really an option.

any of them can be down-converted. or you can supply npcs, cohorts, henchmen, or hirelings to make up the difference temporarily?

the old 2nd ed challenge series come to mind. up-convert them, and you have custom designed single char adventures specific to class.
