Well, I know of a few games in phoenix, such as the one they hold near Metro Center Mall (near 31st Ave & Dunlap) on Saturdays at the Game Nights (D&D 3.5), but other than that...it's pretty dead. I'm totlly for playing things, if its on a day I can play. So, I'll offer to play if you GM, or if we find one :3. But it might interfere with my other 5 games...hmmmm....

Well, I've played 3.0, but I prefer 3.5 (Don't like 3.75 as much O.o).

I can play, my other games arn't all that hard to keep up with, but we all have a life and it is sometimes hard to get in a game a week, so that's why I'm in multiple. I totally don't mind hopping on board with the crew starting to fill this boat, but I'd need a day to work it out. And a location (unless it's online, like all my other games are :3)

Details -
I'd like to play on a Monday to Thursday night, or maybe a weekend morning.
Location: anywhere near the lightrail works for me - plus I might have access to my community room which is near Lux coffee.
Game start: up to the DM, who will be I if no one else wants to run 3.5.

For what it is worth, me and a friend are looking for a game in the east valley. We are both just looking to play (not GM) at the moment. We have tried to start a pathfinder game several times over the past two years, but seems that people keep moving away for family or employment reasons each time.

My buddy was a long time 3.5 player, but i am only experienced with pathfinder. Please don't let me interrupt if this is specifically a 3.5 affair, but if you are considering Pathfinder and need 2 more players...drop me a line.

Chandler/Gilbert border. I don't see that distance as being an issue, as we would both be willing to drive wherever.

A wise person raises the point that Pathfinder might be more popular than D&D 3, so I'm open to a game of that as well.

I'm open to ideas as well as I'd like to do something different and meet some other people. Not so much up on D&D 3.5 (honestly I was an old school D&D type well before 3.0) as I don't have a lot of experience with it. Pathfinder has interested me so I do have a few of those books. Otherwise I usually gravitate towards other games such as White Wolf's World of Darkness, Marvel SuperHeroes RPG (old TSR edition), Street Fighter, or even d20 modern. Samurai Comics near Rose MacCaffrey's is just down the way from me.

My DMing preference is to use a system that works and build the setting around it, but I like to stick to pre-renaissance times since it simplifies things. As a player, I'll branch out a little more, but I like simple rules, and consistent, believable settings.

If you're picking up Pathfinder, you can think of D&D3 as the same thing but with a little more window dressing.
