The idea was to have a single mechanic to cover any situation that requires a dice roll. I like consistency and minimalism. (:

While it is a complete product, with illustrations, professional layout, etc, the rules can definitely use more play-testing and, well, changing if necessary. Any and all feedback and criticism would be welcome.
