Have you looked at unisystem games. All Flesh Must be eaten, Witchcraft, Buffy and Angel? It was developed by CJ Carella who did a lot of GURPS books. It's very simple and fast paced roll a single die add 2 stats and compare to a target number. Plus with all the AFMBE genre's out there it has rules from fantasy to sci fi
