Looking for Hero players

I'm in Tahlequah and I'm just digging into the Hero System 6th edition. The whys:

* Checked out d20 4th, and couldn't get into it at all. A disappointing game for me.

* I wanted to be able to play any genre, and make the characters that I wanted to play.

* So I was left with GURPs and Hero System. Hero seemed, to me, to have a more active support system.

* The Fantasy Hero cover just blew me away. So, I bought it.

I'm looking to pick up the Fantasy Hero as soon as its released (Or when I have the cash). I'm looking for a group that wants to play Hero, or is playing Hero, and wouldn't mind adding another in. Or, if there's interest in joining me, that's cool too. I'll play nearly anything, really, except 4e.

I'm in the process of starting a champions campaign. Not really committed to any particular edition of the rules. Leaning toward a blend of 4th & 5th as those are the sourcebooks I have readily available. Not sure about meeting times or anything at the moment.

Best of luck in finding players and starting your game. If you're looking for a low magic fantasy setting I would recommend to you Kamarathin: Kingdom of Tursh from D3 Games. Sorry for the advertisement, but I had to.

What town would the group meet in, and what days? I'm not opposed to earlier editions, I just have access to current versions.

We're in Tulsa. We're slowly getting a group together and I'm nuilding the world a little at a time. Most likely going to Bluebook the characters and then run a few MArvel Team Up style games until we can get a regular team meeting day scheduled.
