    For those who read to the bottom of the article and were stumped on the dice challenges:

    4 to 66 = 3d20 + 1d6

    8 to 26 = 2d10 + 6

    Also, another solution for '3 to 16' (the one listed in the article is '2d6 + 1d4) is '2d4 + 1d8'. Theirs is a bit better, though.

    See for 3 to 16 I prefer:
    1d10 + 1d4 + 1d2 (flip a coin!)

    It is a cool little article, though. Dice are a very integral and yet rarely studied part of gamer culture. I can't believe though that they failed to mention the 1977 blue-book box set that had random chits you could pull out of a cup instead of dice.
