New player, Looking for a group

I've been trying to get my friends to play D&D, but had no luck. So I'm looking for a group to play any setting of D&D. I'm familiar with the rules, I just haven't played to actually see how things flow.

I'm free most of the time except around 11am-3pm, mon-thurs, while I'm in class.

Hey, we're looking for a couple people as well. My husband and I have the same problem, all of our friends think RPGs are for basement trolls and serial killers haha.

We're mostly interested in playing Warhammer FRPG or Hercules and Xena (using the system anyway, not the lame mythology from the show), as well as card games like Munchkins. We both like D&D, but we don't have any of the current books (just the older ones on PDF).

We live in Plymouth, and would probably be able to play like 2x a month.
