please help me

I just recently got invited to a new game!!! Yeah! Here's the problem I get really nervous in new games, espespecially when I have never played before. So has anyone ever played savage worlds before and what can you tell me about it before my first game on sunday!

It looks like I'll be running Savage Worlds: Deadlands Reloaded in a couple of Sundays here at my place I whipped up a fast wiki so I have some chargen information but haven't pulled together the mechanics yet. I do have free time tomorrow and will be getting that into the wiki.

What setting are you playing in? I can probably help with the core stuff and of course there are the Savage Worlds forums and Pinnacle's web site so there may be some help there as well.

I'll check in tomorrow and see if you still want some help

Thanks Carl! Really don't know much yet, All I have heard is fantasy setting?? My biggest thing is with reading through the core book, I feel real confused and can't figure out how to make a charactor.

Make sure you check out the forums at Pinnacle Entertainment Group. They're the guys who publish Savage Worlds and are really good at answering questions about the game! Also, they've got a lot of info on the forums, you might have to search for it, but so far every question I've had about running SW has already been answered on the forums.

I just had to search for a particular subject and then read the answers!

The game really is Fast, Furious, Fun! It's easy to learn and you'll pick it up quickly. Just be yourself, relax, and enjoy. There are WAY fewer if any gotchas in Savage Worlds that you might find in more complex systems.
