RPGs at ASU

I and one other player are looking for a some players to join our group so we can start playing. We are looking for DM if possible but I am willing to run a game if we can find one.

Games we might play: D&D 3.5 (might start with), Star Wars d20, Stargate, modern, spycraft.

What we are looking for: We are looking for players who like to play RPGs obvious. We are willing to allow people who have never played an RPG in their life to join. A must is a sense of humor and those who know what a bath, toothbrush, and deodorant are.

I've been looking for a game since I moved to Tempe back in May. I can run, but I'd like to play once in a while as well.

Hi I am in the Scottsdale area and about 15 miles from your group.I am interested, I am not a huge fan of D20 but am interested in Star Wars and would not mind running it for a few sessions to see how all like it.

I am a Savage Wolds Explorer and Demo Deadlands and all the SW games at loal cons and events.

I am a single father and my 11 yr Jonathan loves gaming in all its various forms so if you guys would like a possible new player and his son, I am interested.

I have never really played with a child so I am not quite so sure about it, I think it depends what the Dm and the group decide.

How about this everyone how about meeting the next Saturday 13th at McDonalds on Rural and Apache around 2pm? This is mainly a get together session to see if we gel and figure out who is DMing.

I'm just down the street from ASU- rural and Apache is about 10 mintues walking from my place. I would love to play spycraft or star wars (Are you referring to Saga edition, or the old style?), and I enjoy GMing. 3.5 is my weakness in this situation, as I've never played or run it, and I also have a couple of guys I can get to join with me if we do spycraft or star wars. Shall I come by to your meeting on saturday, or do you think you will have enough people?

Ten will be fine for me as well. I think we will be focusing on 3.5 d20 system. You can come ColonelGraves the meeting session is just to see of things work amongst us and who wants to DM and what game we are going to play.

I have only really tried the new 4e. but i live at rural and broadway and i have all
the basic books. i could run a campaign for that. i have a pretty good homebrewed game for that. anything else i would have to learn how to play. which is cool with me. and we could use my place.

If you're not already full up I'd be interested in coming out. I'd certainly enjoy any of the games mentioned, though have to say 3.5 & star wars stand out among the crowd.
