Free sample of Mage: the Awakening, Gloria Mundi is based on F. W. Nietzsche's "Beyond Good and Evil".

what are the days of week and times slots you are considering running it?

I have a friend who played in my campaign and we are both familiar with the rules and with OpenRPG.

I have a game I am running coming up in january but if the two can be reconciled I wouldnt mind doing both.

If you can run the game for us as master, it'd be nice. I've been busy with my band and can't give much of myself to the adventure.
About the days, you can see in my profile. Every free day in my profile counts.

    Merry xmas,

I could bring 1 possibly 2. As long as there is 2 total I can make it interesting.

This hinges on how my Star Trek campaign goes and if the CBT group I am trying to get in will have me.

I think we should do a "Pilot" episode and make sure our play styles match. I have found in the past there isn't a game system around that has a more varied type ol players/expecations.

also, If I run anything it will be in my own setting. Its 98% canon but I have a persistent universe that I have been using for 3 or 4 years and I like it. I understand if thats not acceptable to anyone.

How is the weather in Germany this time of year?

We had the worst road conditions in 15 years in Oklahoma City. We are just now getting over it and more snow scheduled for tomorrow.

I am also gonna get a Ventrilo server. It can accomodate up to 20 players and the host machine wont lag.

That's quite fine. I personally think the NWOD world storyline is slightly flawed so I look forward to seeing your world!

I for one, have been dying to play a Treme Lich or a gunmage.

Well, we had a lot of snow before Christmas.
We woke up at the 24th and saw that all the snow melted and the thermometer marked 10º, a real shame. Now it's starting again, with luck I can go to Snowboard lessons when I come back from my New-year's-crazy-trip.

Well, I was aiming to play the Demo from The Awakening, to start with. It won't take so long and will be much easyer to begin with.
Besides, it's based in one of my favorite books.

kurtthedm, WoD series are full of personal interpretation. That's what makes the game not-so-poupular among dumbasses.
From what I read from The Awakening, they throwed out a lot of the "the game has to sell!" stuff. The only shame is the "limitation"(parcial) of possibilities for free spells.

    Anyway, welcome aboard, kurtthedm.

Great! Agreed with you on the full of personal interpretation part.

When do you want to start playing?

I downloaded the Gloria Mundi intro adventure and I am gonna look it over.

Does everyone have access to the full range of NWoD books? If you need one in PDF email me and I can get you a link. I am not aware of the boards rules on sharing of electronic books and don't wanna piss anyone off so I won't list it here.

    Is everyone playing Mages?

we have mixed some vamps and mortals into our campaigns with the right degree of planning and foresight its doable. Prometheans are harder and I am the least familiar with changeling. Hunter is a no-no. I think its only viable stand alone.
Traditionally, I know the game doesn't crossover in respect to PC's but we enjoy the mix in our groups.

    Reminder.

I still need to see how my Trek games goes before I can commit to a reguarly scheduled NWoD game. I would love to run a one off game and see how we mesh.

If it works out we could just schedule one off games as all of us are available.

Well, I'd like to play a Tremere Lich- which is kind of a hybrid of vampire and mage. I've always wanted to play one, as I ran two games with a PC tremere for players.

That or a gunmage of some kind.
