Looking for GM/DM to run online game! (Maptools or Open + Skype)

Hello Pen and Paper!


The situation
A group, including myself joined a game recruited for by the DM who then dropped out, however we still all would like to play so we are looking for another DM.

Who we Are
We were five Players selected to join a campaign that never came to fruition. The DM unfortunately had to drop. Afterwards we were still talking and decided we would still like to make the game happen if possible. Our experience levels range from rather new to hardened players.

What we would like
We are a group of players ranging from experienced to down right newbs who were supposed to begin a campaign at level 4. However any starting level is fine. We would like a DM who can run an extended campaign and is actively involved in trying to make it an over all fun and challenging experience. We are open to anything but a DM with experience would be great. and Homebrew worlds are awesome.

Tools of the Trade
We all have Open Rpg, MapTools and Skype, so any of those programs will work. We are also okay with using text for IC and using skype for OCC. We are looking to run 3.5E as well.

Times we can meet
Late night, Monday, Wednesday or Thursday, anywhere from 10pm-12am EST starting is fine.

Well depending on what edition and how many people are playing my GM in a 2e AD&D ravenloft campaign needs 3 players, were about lvl 3-4. atm were in greyhawk however i got no idea if we will stay there or go to another world. Right now we just finished a few quest and are in big city looking for hirelings.

i have an extensive collection of 3.5 materials. I am an experienced GM/Storyteller.

I only run home brewed worlds, and have been looking for a group in order to begin telling my Story.

My games are story based, Open Booked, Sandbox style.

No limits on Alignment, however i urge the group to get along. There are in game ways to deal with people.

I am fine with starting at a higher level than first, just so your PC shows a bit of Competence.

I do however require Personalities and backgrounds.

BAD NEWS: i dont know how to use maptools, VTT, Game Table or other Hosting things, but i we can use chat + Skype until i learn how.

Just curious if your group is still together, if so I may have a group you can join? We start between 8 and 9 pm (PST - that's 11 and midnight Eastern Time) and play on friday nights.
