I just posted a review on this game:

If you're serious, I'd love to take my book out for a spin as well, though I'm not familiar with Witchfire Trilogy.
Crafty Games (the guys that made Spycraft) has finally released their fantasy ruleset called Fantasy Craft. This, naturally, made me giggle like a child at Christmas and then start tearing through the book. It's all very d20 based with a lot of changes and tweaks and what not, and after going through it I think it can handle the Iron Kingdoms splendidly.
What I'm wondering is whether or not there is any interest here at the boards for the Witchfire Trilogy through the eyes of Fantasy Craft characters. You can either post to here or PM or however you want to show your interest, but I'd definitely like to take my new book out for a spin.

Fighter: "I can kill a guy in one turn."
Cleric: "I can kill a guy in half a turn."
Wizard: "I can kill a guy before my turn."
Bard: "I can get three idiots to kill guys for me."
MAJOR EDIT
So, a whole bunch of nonsense I typed up the other night is gone. Here's what you need to know.
The Setting: The Iron Kingdoms
A lavishly and thoroughly developed setting by Privateer Press, also known for their Warmachine line. Political intrigue, war-torn nations, traditional fantasy elements (elves, dwarves, magic, and goblins, oh my!), with a little early black powder firearms and massive combat monsters called 'warjacks' (see above picture, I think you can pick it out). I've included an attachment that is a simple and quick little primer or "Player's Handbook" for anyone interested in the story and background of the realm. The setting lends itself to plenty of opportunities for hack-and-slash, but also some cloak & dagger elements that I hope to exploit as much as I possibly can as well.
The System: Fantasy Craft
They took the old d20 dog and taught it some new tricks. Because the system is new and the pdf has a price tag that seems rough (I think it's worth every penny, but I'm a sucker for Crafty Games products), however, if you are even remotely familiar with d20 (3.0, 3.5, 3.x, 3.PF, 3.etc.), then I feel pretty confident that I can walk you through the process of creating a character. Once you have that all filled out, the rest you can learn as we go. Easy, peasy.
The Campaign: The Witchfire Trilogy
I've read through this again and again and have always wanted an opportunity to run it. I think with my new toolbox of goodies, it will make for a great game. If you've played or run it before and you would like to see it run with the new system, you are more than welcome. If we manage to get through that, and everyone's having a good time, I'll be more than happy to keep the game going with my own adventures.
The Characters: That's you!
I'm willing to accept just about any character concept as long as you are not going to actively disrupt the party. Characters with secrets (and even players with secrets from other players) can be a lot of fun, and I'm certainly not opposed to it. If you have a rare/strange race or concept that you want to play, then come up with a compelling reason and run it past me. If find some ridiculously good reason to play a Rootwalker half-dragon Mage, then I'll see what I can do to make it fit into the story.
There are still spots open so feel free to contact me through a PM if you are interested in getting more material or you would like some help to start creating a character.

I'm in, obviously!
I have the day off tomorrow, so I'll do some Witchfire Trilogy research and hit you back with a backstory tomorrow.
Fighter: "I can kill a guy in one turn."
Cleric: "I can kill a guy in half a turn."
Wizard: "I can kill a guy before my turn."
Bard: "I can get three idiots to kill guys for me."
Don't know if you're still gonna run this, can you maybe give us some more information? I'm kinda at a loss for the setting, don't really know where to begin.
Fighter: "I can kill a guy in one turn."
Cleric: "I can kill a guy in half a turn."
Wizard: "I can kill a guy before my turn."
Bard: "I can get three idiots to kill guys for me."
Still planning on running it, still trying to recruit another player or 2. I'm also scouring the Interwebs for good places that you could pick up some information on the setting. Work's a little crazy over the weekend, but I should have something more for everyone once the weekend's over.
Fantasy Craft Classes 101
Naturally, a large part of a d20 game is, "What class am I going to play?" With this in mind, I thought I'd put up a little information about what classes are available and an excerpt from the book on the topic of party roles.
Classes and their rolesOriginally Posted by Fantasy Craft, page 28
Assassin - Talker/Combatant
Burglar - Specialist/Combatant
Captain - Backer/Combatant
Courtier - Talker/Backer
Explorer - Solver
Keeper - Specialist
Lancer - Combatant/Talker
Mage - Wildcard
Priest - Wildcard/Backer
Sage - Backer/Wildcard
Scout - Combatant/Solver
Soldier - Combatant
Expert Classes (prestige classes you can enter as early as your fifth level)
Alchemist - Backer
Beastmaster - Specialist
Edgemaster - Combatant/Backer
Paladin - Wildcard/Combatant
Rune Knight - Combatant
Swashbuckler - Talker/Combatant
Now, if you're wondering where some of the old 'classics' went, there are still options for your Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Rogue, etc., but it's in something called a Specialty. I'll not tell you more here, you're gonna have to ask and further subjugate yourself to me trying to hook you into my game.
I also have a Martial Artist and Fixer class from the company's flagship game, Spycraft if none of those tickle your fancy. Along with the Channeler and Seer, which are 2 specialist mages that specialize in Evocation and Divination type magics, respectively.

I still wanna play...and I couldnt find a Fantasy Craft PDF sonova @*&#!
But hay, its all gravey. Is there anyway you could send me just the character creation....I dont know how....you could copy paste it....unless you actually bought it...damn, it would be a bugger but Id be grateful.
I am interested in giving it a shot, if you're looking for another player-- if not, that's okay, too.
...yeah dont worry about that last post...who was it, Kayeoticneutral? Nah you dont want her. She ...um, yuky and a guy who knew a guy, who use to walk a guys' dog, told me shes a....communist. Its true, seen her in chat? *Whispers* They say her chat font is as red as the communist spirit and frankly, its just unamerican.
Yo foggy
I wont be online as often as I usually do, now that I have a job, so um email me when youve got a party of players
Neon-- you need to keep your mouth shut, buddy. If you expose me, the government will find out about you, too. Geez -.-
You better not tell people! Its just a rash!
Have 1 character ready to go, another one well on the way, another just about ready to go, and possibly a fourth if Korhal23 is still interested. If anyone is still interested in jumping on board, now's the time to do it.
