It's the one Games Workshop game that I really did get hooked into, though I have not touched it in years.

My oldest child is now ready for such games, so I'm really considering dusting it off after Gen Con and seeing about relearning it with him.

I'm curious who else ever played this, and if you still do.

yep. I used to run regular campaigns of it in my local game store before I moved two years ago. I had 8-12 players in the campaigns. Mordheim was actually the more popular game at the store.

I've played thousands of games. It's one of my favorite GW games. I have several gangs and all the old books (and the new ones...).

I wish I could get a few people to play it sometime. It would be great to run another campaign.

er... you said "new ones..." I'm not always up to speed on the GW clue train... does this mean I should be finding something awesome at their booth later this week?

Sadly, it won't be Necromunda related if you do. The new one I mentioned was the reprinted rulebook, with rules that were updated for the times (such as changing the way sustained fire works and template sizes). At one point the rulebook was a free download from the Specialist Games site. It may still be at the GW site.

I played Necromunda ( during my brief spat as a wargamer) and loved it! I wish people around here still played. Most are just 40k fanatics. Hell, noone even plays regular Warhammer, let alone any of the specialist games.

I was looking to get back into it. That and Blood Bowl lol.

It doesn't surprise me that all the players in your area are 40K fanatics. You're in Iron Fist League territory.

Good luck finding another game. If you're ever in the northeast look me up. I'll play bloodbowl with you.

I have only played Blood Bowl once. I loved it.

I want to buy the new Human team, and I need to get the game. I only played with a team someone gave me, and on their pitch lol.

Own the Hardcover edition of Necroomunda. Don't own any of the minis but would love to play just have to find local players & affordable minis to represent the gangs. Either that or remake the gangs to fit with the cool Sci-Fi minis I can find else were like Urban Mammoth or Infinity. That said I relly want to play Mordheim, was going to but friends want to play Warlord instead.

I wish I could say I remember playing Necromunda. It was just ending its run as I got into the hobby. I always loved the look and style and would love to get into it as a revival game even now.
In fact, I'm going to get the rule book and start working on a gang, just in case I find someone else who plays.
