Do I get partial credit for helping you think up this thread, since you originally said about the garbage burrito in a reply to my post on another thread?
Thread inspired by cplmac.
What food are you craving at this very moment?
Me: I would seriously love a Garbage Burrito at this very moment.
What share you?

Pepperoni Pizza Bites. Think I will go make some now.![]()
Hmm, deep fried pizza puffs, and cheese frys.
Kung Pao chicken from the (now-extinct) restaurant, China 1 Wok. Best Kung Pao I have ever had and now I will never be able to have it again. I've tried the Kung Pao at every Chinese/Asian restaurant since and have not found its equal.
I suppose (as the saying goes) all good things must come to an end but why is it that the best things are the first ones to disappear?
Since I can't have that, my craving would shift to a chicken salad sandwich from Baker Bros American Deli. Yeah, I could definately go for one of those right now. Mmmmm...![]()

What I want is some authentic enchiladas and all the fixens that they serve in a little hole-in-the-wall resturant in downtown San Antonio. Unfortunatly, I am stuck here in Dallas where nobody seems to know the right way to cook Oriental foods.
Yeah, that's right Web, I feel you pain!

If you're ever out in the direction of Rowlett and are craving some tasty-yet-inexpensive tex-mex food, check out a little hole-in-the-wall called Pancho and Lefty's. It is at the corner of Lakeview Pkwy (also called Highway 66) and Liberty Grove Rd. It was converted from an old Dairy Queen (they still use the oval-shaped sign) and their food is delicious, the portions are good and they even have great margaritas. Most of their entrees are $5 during lunch and just $1 more at dinner time. Highly recommended.
Yep. When P.F. Chang's marks the pinnacle of Asian cuisine options, you know you're in a sorry state. Then there's the fact that the nearest P.F. Chang's is about 25 miles away. *pout*

For good Chinese, and I had your problem when I lived there spotlight, try Szechuan on the corner of Precinct Line Rd and Old Grapevine Highway by Tom Thumb's in North Richland Hills, their lo mein noodles are to die for, they're home made. There are Mongolian restaurants everywhere there that you can make your own and have them grill it for you, they're usually pretty good ... but only if you like Sesame Oil ... the stuff is loaded in it.
