It's all about the personal fireworks for me: sparklers, black snakes, ground bloom flowers, fountains, rockets, novelties, Roman candles, mortars, I love them all! However, it's the cones, fountains, and cakes that I like best. Only 364 more days until the next time!
Its all about family, friends and cooking a boston butt and several slabs of baby backs on the grille. Throw a few sweet potatoes on the grille with ears of corn....sounds like a good time.
No fireworks here, I don't need any stubs for my fingers and toes.

Was on vacation with the wife, daughters, and parents/grandparents. We all went on a horse drawn wagon ride out where we were staying in the Poconos. The fireworks were the night before right at the resort.
We don't have a grill right now. So we got a big honkin' pork shoulder. Starting evening of July 3rd, I cooked it in a crockpot for 14 hours with a few cups of water. Took it out, dumped the water, pulled the pork, and cooked it in the crockpot for another 6 hours in BBQ sauce.
Some potato salad and a couple o' good strong stouts with that, add some family, and good to go!

That sounds awesome, Harwel. I need to get a BBQ grill right now, so i had to settle with Wendy's Double-Stax. Admittedly, i was hoping for donuts, but all the donut stores were closed. Yeah, i live in the fast lane.

I like the fireworks because their noisy, bright, and somethings usually on fire which helps my mild pyromania...
