    didn't see a post just for people to post pics of their terrain peices ... so i am making this one ... with a few pics from my last set i painted ... have a bunch more in the works for other games as well so will add more as i get them done...

    yeah i like it ... using from time to time even on a normal drawn grid map to add a little more to it....

    Very nice. Once i come into loads of cash, i will have an entire basement devoted to my hobbies, but for now, i will just have to live vicariously through the rest of you.

    yeah that is a bad part about terrain .. i tend to stick with smaller stuff that can be packed in boxes while not in use ... over bigger items...

    it is part of Warhammer 40k ... a crashed transport ship .. came with one of the starter sets a few years ago .. picked the peices up on ebay for about 10$ shipped .. would work great with any sci-fi / future rpg though...

    This stuff doesn't have to cost a bunch of money. In my experience I find it rather cheap in monetary costs. It is the investment of time that is the real cost, that and the space to store it. But it is the time I spend making it that I find so therapeutic. Not having an artistic job has caused the need to build terrain on occasion. It is a great release for me when I can find the time. I am lucky that I have a house with space to store and work on this stuff.

    I agree especially when you used it in our games it almost helped me feel my charactor better cause I could see exactly where I was in my mind..
