I loves me a good sammich and, obviously, there are different kinds that are good for different cravings but if I had an all-time favorite one, it is this:

(Baker Bros.) Ken's Chicken Salad Sandwich

Ingredients:
Grilled white-meat chicken (chopped, not shredded)
Mayo
Celery
Red Onions
Pecans (chopped)
Unknown seasonings

Topped with:
Cheddar Cheese
Lettuce
Tomato

Served on:
"Farm" bread (a chewy bread somewhat like french bread)

...No better sammich on the face of the Earth.

Funny thing is...I dispise mayo in any form except on this delicacy or a tuna equivalent.

I think my favorite sammich would be a Reuben. Rye bread, corned beef, sauerkraut, thousand island dressing .... mmm mmm good.

Favorite sammich, hmm; tough one. PB&J is a classic (&P, really; "strawberry preserves = nummies" is mathematical fact), as is grilled cheese with ham. One of those.

Don't like jelly, jam or preserves much at all so I just ate PB sammiches growing up.

Now, a peanut butter and banana sammich is a force to be reckoned with! So delicious! Just PB, sliced banana and bread. I'd eat one right now if I had any bananas in the house.
