I would have to say Star Trek II: Wrath Of Khan (Which I heard incidentally is the rumored villain in the next movie)

Argh! I knew you were going to say that. I must be the only who thinks that was the worst of all the Star trek movies!

I don't know I thought it was awesome. I like the original Star Trek movie as well though. The newer ones(up until this most recent one) I didn't get as into for some reason.

I liked the first one as well. Although it loses some of its shine if you see it more than once. Most Trekkies however, think the first one is the worst one with the possible exception of Nemesis, which I also liked.

Only tangentially related, but it amused me.
Fighter: "I can kill a guy in one turn."
Cleric: "I can kill a guy in half a turn."
Wizard: "I can kill a guy before my turn."
Bard: "I can get three idiots to kill guys for me."

Wolverine Origins had Dudepeel. Star Trek wins by default.

I love the X-Men comics. Even can put aside my fandom and overlook the things they change and screw up and still thoroughly enjoy all the movies(yes, even the 3rd one). There were even parts of the Wolverine movie I really enjoyed, but it was definitely trying to appeal to the teenage to early twenties non comic reading audience. Flashy action and mostly naked wolverine throughout. I think the new Star Trek didnt alienate their longtime fans nearly as much as the Wolverine movie did.

It took me 3 viewings of the new Star Trek movie to decide I liked it!

I did not like "blue sky on Vulcan", Chekov, or the Romulans. I did like the actor who portrayed Bones McCoy. I think he should get honorary mention for portraying the character true to Deforest Kelley. The actor for young Spock deserves some praise, and finally we get to see how Kirk reprogrammed the Kobayashi Maru scenario to be winnable. Learning that Spock is the one who came up with the program was great. I also have to agree that, by placing it in an alternate universe, made it acceptable. The only reason Spock (Prime) was included was to give it a link to the original, which I felt was unnecessary.

If you want to make a new movie in an alternate universe based on Trek, some of the designs must stay true to Gene Roddenberry's vision. After he passed on, I believe those who took over, after a time, got away from that vision which is why the franchise waned.

Well, I don't think it's the worst ST of all time, for me the worst is tied between Generations and #5. As for the best Trek movie, another tie between #6 The Undiscovered Country and the reboot.
