Walter and Heinrich reflect on geography, as a contrasting outdoorsy-ranger and bookish-mage Odd Couple.

Walter slowly comes to the realization that

    maybe

    they

    might

    be

    off track.

    Crap.

Rana: Heinrich is there anything that can be done? Can you determine how far off course we are? Or do we go back to the last place that we knew we were on track?

    Paul does, but...

    "Steve's not here man"

Wilhelm: Well we were on the right track when we approached the field, so we couldn't be too far off....Shouldn't we have been approaching a town soon? Where is that located in reguards to where we were as we approached that field?

Since Paul is being a slacker (finals?) I'll pull Heinrich's weight.

    Hmmm...
--- Merged from Double Post ---
Heinrich stops the group one night as dawn breaks:
Between Walter and I, I have determined that we are about two or three days off track. The only sure way we know to get to Baronsdoom is to follow the Baronsdoom River north. So I suggest we travel due west until we arrive at the river. By traveling at about half-speed, I can almost certainly forage and hunt enough food for all of us.

Does anyone have any thoughts or gripes?

(we're going with the first die roll...I don't know why it automatically rerolls the dice)

Rana: No, and I would be happy to help you with the foraging and hunting Heinrich. Living in the deeper, more secluded woods of the Summervale most of my life I have become quite good at it myself!(+6 survival)

(P.S. Ben I think it does that everytime you edit a message in which you rolled a virtual die)

You have more food and shelter that you can possibly use in a day. (Four or five days' worth, in fact)

Rana: sounds good. If anyone needs rations I am more than happy to give them to you, seeing as how I planned ahead and bought 10 days worth in addition to the 4 or 5 days worth I just foraged. (Rana will look to offer up food especially to Carol and the two troops that were assigned to us by Chobry. He feels bad about the way he talked to the female who wanted to stop and rest, and he feels gratitude towards Carol)

She smiles at you and pushes her past you.
    "I have my own rations.

"And by the way, your foraged food that you foraged? It won't last."

    Kyril:
I thank you kindly for the offer of food and sustenance, kind Elhan. But, rest assured, I have brought enough rations to last me. quite a while.
